At the request of a large multi-national corporation, Sencera developed a small unit to purify Nitrogen based on a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process. While the process is not uncommon, the reliability and cost targets were quite aggressive.
The result is marketed under the N2CAT brand name. It has the highest Nitrogen throughput per weight or volume of any unit in the industry. It also maintains better than 99.7% purity over years of operational life.
